Wedding Dress Facts
Your expectations when finding your wedding dress are higher than any other dress purchase you will make. This is a special time to get together with family and/or friends to share in what should be a happy experience. Bridal shops help you find a gown that is not only budget friendly, but matches your body type. It is not unusual for a bride to come in with one style in mind and walk out with a dress that is not at all what she imagined.
Buying your wedding gown online may seem like a convenience, but it is not for everyone. Although there are numerous choices to view and prices seem appealing, not everyone ends up with the gown of their dreams.
Often we are contacted by brides who have purchased a wedding gown online and they are stressed out because it didn’t arrive on time or wasn’t exactly like the photo they viewed. It is sad to see tears of sorrow and desperation rather than those of joy.
We get it, weddings are expensive so this is one reason why gowns are purchased online. They are often less expensive than shopping from a bridal salon. (Although this is not the case at The Dressing Room). Many online dresses are copies of designer gowns and the quality is often inferior. Usually these gowns are made to look like the originals. The lace, beading, and color are often a disappointment because dresses are created with inexpensive materials.
Here is an interesting website, I thought I would share.
